• right at schoolSchool District U-46 is partnering with Right At School this summer to provide free after-school care to students attending elementary summer programming at Otter Creek Elementary School in Elgin. 

    With hundreds of activities to choose from, at Right at School, every day is a fresh day to get messy, get involved, and get active! From slimy science experiments and brain-teasing challenges to fantasy adventures and crafty creations – a little something for everyone! Activities will include water days, themed activities (both indoors and out!), MYSTERY guests, FUN in the SUN and so much more!
     
    Right At School is a trusted School District U-46 community provider of before- and after-school care and summer camp enrichment programs.
     
    Families who have enrolled their child in the elementary summer programming at Otter Creek can begin the sign-up process with Right at School by clicking here. 

    This service will be offered from noon to 5 p.m., and lunch will be provided. 

    Students who remain for after-school programming will not be provided U-46 bus transportation home; parents will be required to pick up their child from after-school programming.

    Note that Summer Connection after-school care is not available for students entering kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year.
