U-46 Buses to Distribute Meals Around Community
School District U-46 is adding nearly 40 community sites where families can pick up free breakfast and lunch meals for children 18 and under on weekdays during Distance Learning. The new sites are in addition to the 40 school sites where the free meals have been served since early this month, and in some cases, since last spring.
Families can pick whichever location works best for them each day - either one of the existing school sites, or one of the new community sites.
Either way, no paperwork is required to pick up the meals. The children do not have to be present and a friend, relative, or neighbor can pick up the family's meal if the parent or guardian is not able to pick it up. The meals are packaged to take home.
For an updated schedule, list of locations, please visit u-46.org/food-distribution
