U-46 will host traditional summer school opportunities in 2024 for current 9th through 12th grade students. These programs will allow students to recover credit for courses where proficiency was not yet demonstrated. Enrichment opportunities will also be available.
U-46 will also offer the Freshman Connection for incoming 9th grade students and the College Jumpstart for students entering 12th grade students in the 2024-25 school year.
Summer internships are available to students who are incoming 12th graders. More details on internships can be found here.

Fee: Summer school fees will be waived for 2024
Attendance: Students enrolled in summer school are expected to attend school on time every day. Students who are absent for two days per semester will be dropped from the course and will not earn any credit. If a student arrives 30 minutes or more after the start time, it will be recorded as an absence.
Student Code of Conduct: All students who register for summer courses agree to follow the U-46 Student Code of Conduct. Discipline issues will not be tolerated and could result in a student being dropped from the program.Contact Information:

Summer School Graduation:

Students need to arrive by 2:30 pm to make final preparations for the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.
Dress
Students must wear both their graduation cap and gown. Caps can be decorated. However, if anything deemed inappropriate is displayed, the cap will be confiscated until after the ceremony.
Guests
All guests should be seated by 3:00 pm. Each graduate is allowed up to 6 guests. Tickets are not distributed for this event. Graduates should check with the Summer School Staff prior to July 2 if additional seats are being requested for guests.
Important Notes
** We ask that no items be brought to the ceremony that will interfere with the ceremony, such as blow horns, signs, or balloons.
**There will be an opportunity for graduates and their guests to take photos outside the building immediately following the ceremony. The Auditorium will be cleared immediately, so please plan on meeting your graduate outside the building.
**Diplomas will be available at your home high school about two weeks after the ceremony. Please contact your school if you need any transcripts sent.
