U-46 annually works with local partners to offer 60-hour paid internships in alignment with a student's career interest. This opportunity is intended for juniors entering their senior year in the fall. Reliable transportation is required. Students will need to adhere to all employment requirements of the company or public entity. Students should have taken related coursework for the career area they intend to apply. 

Internship Timeline:
March 11th - April 5th Students complete Summer Internship Course Enrollment HERE.

Please Note: Parents and guardians should use their login from a home computer or device to enroll their child in the internship. At this time there is a technical issue logging in with a student Chromebook and account. 

March 18th - April 5th Summer Internship Application. 

March 18th - May 20th Students will work with work-based learning specialists to finalize application materials and interview with companies.

June 3rd - July 3rd Students report to internship sites based on the schedule developed by the company. 

Steps to Apply for a Summer Internship:

1. Students who are interested in this opportunity should register for the Summer Internship Course HERE.
2. Complete this Google form and submit your resume to be matched with possible placements.
3. A work-based learning teacher will contact you to coach you through the interview process. 
4. Your internship will begin June 5th (June 3rd for Pharmacy Tech.). Most internships will conclude by July 3rd.
