Each month, the PD Committee Representatives share out key points from the meeting with their respective programs/buildings.  We have decided to post the meeting highlights here for those individuals who may not have a PD rep at their building. Meeting minutes are posted below.

PD  Committee Update 4/7/22

*U-46 Rising PD Update: See Lela Majstorovic’s slides for dates and details 

*The committee heard and provided feedback on 3 curriculum proposals: African-American studies, SSS Post Secondary Plan Strategies Gr. 11/Post Secondary Preparation Gr.12 Curriculum, and SSS CC ELL Reading Resource.  Full details on these proposals can be found in the meeting minutes.

*The Equity Symposium will be returning this year.  It will take place August 8 - 12.  The planning committee is looking for district educators to present at the event; to learn more about the symposium click here to read Dr. Lance’s newsletter and click here to access the presenter interest form. 

*The committee reviewed a draft required PD website for the fall and provided feedback.  The goal is to provide access to this website with the required PD for the 22-23 SY before the end of May.
