Arrival and Dismissal at Lords Park School

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures
We need your help to keep the school and your children safe. EVERY child's safety is important to us. It remains our highest priority to ensure that students enter and exit cars in a safe and organized way. We ask everyone to correctly follow our pick-up and drop-off procedures.
General Precautions
- Be your child's best example. Please be courteous and follow all safety guidelines at all times.
- Breakfast and supervision is provided in the Cafeteria starting at 7:30 a.m. for students that would like breakfast. Students enter at Door 2.
- Outside supervision begins at 7:45 a.m.
- Follow all directions from school safety personnel. They can see potential problems you may not.
- Students are to be picked up promptly at dismissal at 2:00 p.m. There is no supervision after school hours beyond 2:15.
- Please drive slowly and watch for children!
- Practice, practice, practice routines. Tell your children to seek out school staff members if they don't see a family member.

Drop-Off Procedures during Arrival
- Drive north on Waverly and use the outer bus lane for quick drop off, NO PARKING. Or, park along Waverly and walk your student to ther appropriate door
- Students can unload from PASSENGER SIDE of vehicle only. The driver should remain in the vehicle at all times and all driver-side doors are to remain closed.
- Keep pulling forward and fill in all gaps in Loading Zone Lane.
- Have all school materials including backpack and lunch ready before student exits the vehicle.

Pick-Up Procedures at Dismissal
- Park along Waverly or Shiloh and walk to the pickup location.
- USE THE CROSSWALK, we have a crossing guard.
- Do NOT park in the staff parking lot, as it is a dismissal area for Kindergarten and Fourth Grade
- Do NOT use the outer bus lane as our daycare buses use it until departure.
