Math runs a little differently in our class than others.

All students receive a math lesson daily and have the help they need to complete their pages in class. 

Math lessons are composed of problem set pages and homework pages. 

The first graders are taught their lesson first and have some time to work on their problem set pages. After we complete the lesson the first graders read indepedently and complete their reader's response for the day. 

While I am teaching the first graders, the second graders are reading independently and completing their reader's response. Second grade will be taught their lesson second and go through the same process as I did with the first graders. 

All students will take home their math book each night to complete the homework pages. There will be homework each night.
