I was born in Ohio, but my parents moved to Illinois when I was a year old, and I've lived in Illinois ever since.  I have a younger sister. I graduated from Schaumburg High School, home of the Saxons!  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from Northern Illinois University, got married, and started teaching in U-46 in 1999...that was a busy year!  Since then, I've had 4 kids and earned my Master's Degree from Olivet Nazarene University.  This is my 22nd year teaching in U-46, and my second year at Channing.
