Mrs. Cody Papp 

Mrs. Cody Papp brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as Assistant Principal at Sunnydale Elementary School. With a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the University of Central Missouri, Cody’s educational journey took a transformative turn as she pursued her true passion for teaching and leadership. She holds two Master’s degrees: one in Early Childhood Special Education from Elmhurst College and another in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University.

With 11 years in education, including six years in the School District U-46, Cody has developed a deep commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Her focus on early childhood development and educational leadership allows her to effectively support and inspire both students and staff.

Outside of her professional life, Cody enjoys watching her 3 children play volleyball, baseball and hockey. She also enjoys working out, and cheering for her favorite teams—the Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, and Mizzou Tigers. 

At Sunnydale Elementary, Cody is dedicated to fostering a supportive and dynamic school environment, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
