Registration Fee Update for 2024-25

School District U-46 has waived all Student Registration/Instructional Material Fees for the 2024-25 school year.

On February 26, 2024, District Administration recommended and the School District U-46 School Board approved the waiver of School Registration & Instructional Fees for the 2024-2025 school year. As a financial relief to families, the District will utilize Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding to pay for 2024-2025 fees. However, with ESSER funding coming to an end in September of 2024, registration fees will be charged to families starting with the 2025-2026 school year. This will be communicated to families in January 2025.

School District U-46 will continue to offer breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students.
While meal applications will not be required, if you feel your child(ren) qualifies for a fee waiver for optional fees, we do recommend that families complete the Fee Waiver form, see below, and return it to your school. 
*Parking permits, yearbooks, and certain activity fees are not covered under fee waivers.
