School District U-46 is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin this summer to provide free after-school to students attending elementary summer programming at 

• Hillcrest Elementary School
• Channing Elementary School
• Ridge Circle Elementary School
• Laurel Hill Elementary School 

The Boys & Girls Club offers a variety of enrichment activities to ensure students exercise and learn how to stay fit and healthy, explore academic and career interests, sports, and build important character, leadership and lifelong social skills. 

Boys & Girls Club is a trusted School District U-46 community provider of before- and after-school care and summer camp enrichment programs.

Families who have enrolled their child in elementary summer programming at sites listed above can begin the sign-up process with Boys & Girls Club by clicking here. 

This service will be offered from noon to 5 p.m., and lunch will be provided. 

Students who remain for after-school programming will not be provided U-46 bus transportation home; parents will be required to pick up their child from after-school programming.

Note that Summer Connection after-school care is not available for students entering kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year.
