Technology in U-46

Date: Wednesday, August 26 in English and Spanish
Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m.
U-46 staff will give an overview of the technology tools used in the District followed by breakout sessions divided by grade level so that attendees can get hands-on experience navigating specific technology platforms such as Canvas. The breakout sessions will be offered in English and Spanish.

Promoting Self-Care for Parents & Caregivers

Date: Tuesday, July 21 in English   |    Wednesday, July 22 in Spanish
Time: Both from 7 to 8 p.m.
In collaboration with the Family Service Association of Greater Elgin, U-46 lead social worker Mary Abbott will explore ways to promote resilience and well-being in families so parents and caregivers remain strong and positive as we start planning to return to school.

Time: Both from 7 to 8 p.m.
Learn about the many resources available to help your family access housing, internet service, food, and other items during this difficult time. 

All webinars will be streamed live via Zoom but limited to the first 500 who sign up here. The day of the event a link to join will be emailed to those who RSVP. The sessions will be recorded and posted on our website after the events.

Our plan is to continue offering webinars throughout the school year but need your feedback on topics our families would like to learn more about. Please share topics that you would like to see covered in future webinars on this online form.
