    Mrs. Hansen has been the assistant principal of Ridge Circle since 2023. Before that, she served as the resident administrator from 2021-2023 as a part of the first cohort of resident administrators in U-46.

    Mrs. Hansen began her teaching career as a dual language first-grade teacher in 2008 in CUSD 15, outside of Springfield. She then taught dual language in second-fifth grade (1-way and 2-way) from 2011-2021 for U-46 schools, including Lincoln, Lowrie, Century Oaks, and Hillcrest. 

    Mrs. Hansen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from WIU, a Master of Arts in Bilingual Education from ACE, and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from NIU.
